Operational Manager assists the General Manager in executing all local strategic planning initiatives related to the Organisation. Promotes a corporate image of excellence through a strong work ethic and leadership. Should be able to lead the team by example, be consistent and should provide excellent customer service to the clients. Manager - Operations is responsible to oversee all day to day operations of the business.
Preference will be given for a solutions-based individual who thrives to work in an exciting, fast-paced and dynamic work environment setting.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Work closely with the management team and the Operations team in the day to day planning and operations of the business to ensure all targets are met.

Enabling operational excellence by running improvement initiatives to ensure the growing requirements of the company are met.

Leading and scheduling management and staff meetings.
-
Delivering high-quality service to the clients, ensuring the expectations of the clients are met to the best of our ability.

Assisting in interviewing new staff as well as training and developing the skill sets of current employees.

Reviewing the performance of staff and implementing personal development plans to ensure the active growth of all employees.

Proactively ensure that quality and production metrics and KPI’s are meeting or exceeding targets.

Provide professional leadership and create a team culture for all staff and ensure that the workforce is motivated and has a sense of belonging and loyalty to the company and its objectives.

Maximizes sales and profits by meeting and exceeding sales budgets while minimizing shrink.

Controls payroll and expense through maximizing staff productivity, properly and efficiently allocating resources to the Projects or any other assigned works, and by monitoring monthly organisation expenditures against the allocated budget.

Conduct monthly review meetings, Creates monthly financial reports to monitor and control risks and expenses to the Organisation.

Participate in strategy sessions with the Management.

Attend Conferences, Workshops, professional associations/events and provide presentations and/or seminars as required to promote the organisation.

Recruits, trains and develops all supporting levels of staff to ensure efficient and profitable operation. Develops a succession plan for the Organisation and supports company management strategic plans, other administration, and HR initiatives.

Demonstrates excellent product/service knowledge and promotes a consistently positive corporate image to the clients and customers.

Ensures compliance of corporate and statutory responsibilities and works closely with all verticals in identifying and closing the gaps and in the development of new opportunities.

Works closely with Management in implementing strategic goals and Initiatives-Where applicable, works and communicates closely with Clients/Partners/Employees/Supporting staff to ensure compliance with all the initiatives in the organisation.

Develops and maintains a positive and responsive relationship with all Employees.
Working Relationships

Plans and executes the daily operation of the organisation along with General Manager-Business Development; leads and directs Employees in completing the targets and daily tasks.

Provides enthusiastic, positive reinforcement and guidance to staff. Reviews and receives the deliverables from the resources.

Delivers/receives information to/from Management/staff.

Monitors People, Policies, Process and Infrastructure related activities in the Organisation.
Should be responsible for executing all the responsibilities as assigned by the management from time to time depending on the organisation requirements.
Qualification
Education and Experience:
-
Any Graduate with 10+ years of post-qualification experience in an operational role out of which at least 3+ years leading as a Manager.

Experience in handling business or management (equivalent or related fields will be considered).

Strong people management skills with experience in managing a variety of staff members.
-
Proven team building, leadership, decision making and conflict resolution skills.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-
Should be able to work in a fast-paced agile environment.
-
Responsible for completing the work as an individual and in getting the work completed by the Team.

Ability to multitask.
-
Hold a valid four and two-wheeler driver’s License.
-
Adaptable to Technology and Good working knowledge of Project Management and Business Process Management practices and systems.
Desirable:
-
Background in Geospatial technology and Information Technology.
-
Background in armed forces, police, academic, and office administrators in a leadership position where processes are the norm in day to day operations.

Teaching and Training experience in management and technology.
